Zhang Lab Receives Support from NIH COBRE program!

We are excited to share that the Zhang Lab has received support from the NIH COBRE program for a new research project focused on understanding copper-sensing mechanisms in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). This funding, awarded on May 5, 2026, will help our lab investigate how organisms detect and respond to changes in copper levels, an essential process for maintaining cellular health and survival.

We sincerely thank the NIH COBRE program for its support and confidence in our research!
